Make low fat banana
Make low fat banana bread, muffins, cup cakes by swapping half the oil or butter with unsweetened apple sauce.
Replace your white bread and butter with whole wheat bread and peanut butter to get a dose of better fats, more fiber and less calories.
Use the half-and-half strategy – combine your favorite sweet with its unsweetened version to reduce your sugar intake.
Dried cherries keep cakes, muffins and cookies moist.
