When a man becomes free from desires and keeps the rule of contentment, he experiences the highest level of supreme happiness.
One who is able to control all his desires through meditation, experiences the spiritual level.
Opposition of one’s desires is the sign of the highest level of wisdom in a human being.
A man experiences the consequences and fruits of his actions and has to undergo rebirth. So, one should remain free from all desires.
Happiness is the highest level of success.
Those who are free from anger and all material desires, who are self-realized, self-disciplined and constantly endeavoring forperfection, are assured of liberation in the Supreme in the very near future. (5.26)
A transcendentalist should always engage his body, mind and self in relationship with the Supreme; he should live alone in asecluded place and should always carefully control his mind. He should be free from desires and feelings of possessiveness. (6.10)
The yogi whose mind is fixed on Me verily attains the highest perfection of transcendental happiness. He is beyond the mode ofpassion, he realizes his qualitative identity with the Supreme, and thus he is freed from all reactions to past deeds. (6.27)
When a devotee attains the supreme knowledge, his soul unites with supreme soul and he gets free from the cycle of worldly affairs.
One, who can control his desires, attains the blessings of the Supreme Lord.
