To be on right
To be on right path, we should maintain the same state of mind in happiness or sorrow and should have self control in every position.
Happiness is a state of mind. With physical comforts, if your mind is still in a state of confusion and agitation it is not happiness. Happiness means calmness of mind.
Happiness and joy comes to all. Sorrow brings depth and joy broadens our mind. We should serve in joy and sacrifice in sorrow.
In the stage of perfection called trance, or samadhi, one’s mind is completely restrained from material mental activities by practice of yoga. This perfection is characterized by one’s ability to see the self by the pure mind and to relish and rejoice in the self. In that joyous state, one is situated in boundless transcendental happiness, realized through transcendental senses. Established thus, one never departs from the truth, and upon gaining this he thinks there is no greater gain. Being situated in such a position, one is never shaken, even in the midst of greatest difficulty. This indeed is actual freedom from all miseriesarising from material contact. (6.20-23)
Sorrow disappears as one progresses on the Path of Knowledge. Yoga and Meditation remove sorrow from life and bring joy.
She who can turn her mind into a beautiful garden of colourful thoughts, is on the right path towards happiness. – Leon Brown
There is always the need to maintain balance, avoid extremes, and to have full knowledge of how to proceed along the path in the best way.
When you are in touch with the Inner Being then irrespective of the outer state, you remain in a perpetual state of Happiness.
