A devotee who dedicates
A devotee who dedicates his life in performing his duties with constant effort and patience, reaches the pinnacle of success in life.
It is far better to discharge one’s prescribed duties, even though they may be faultily, than another’s duties. Destruction in the course of performing one’s own duty is better than engaging in another’s duties, for to follow another’s path is dangerous. (3.35)
I believe that constant effort, tireless effort, pursuing clear goals with sincere effort is the only way.
A person who accepts the path of devotional service is not bereft of the results derived from studying the Vedas, performing austere sacrifices, giving charity or pursuing philosophical and fruitive activities. Simply by performing devotional service, heattains all these, and at the end he reaches the supreme eternal abode. (8.28)
A devotee should always be involved in good deeds because Lord punishes the wicked and protects those with pure hearts.
A devotee unites with God and attains ultimate happiness when he realizes and feels the love of God.
A devotee who considers God as an ideal, along with ones protector, the feeling of fearlessness eliminates from his mind.
A devotee who continuously meditates, gets the supreme bliss and indulges in the supreme self.
Sri Sri: A devotee is not there for wisdom. He simply is in love with the Master. He doesn’t care whether he gets enlightened or not.
