A person s own
A person’s own folly leads to their ruin, yet their heart rages against the LORD.
The demoniac person thinks: “So much wealth do I have today, and I will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have killed him, and my other enemies will also be killed. I am the lord of everything. I am the enjoyer. I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give some charity, andthus I shall rejoice.” In this way, such persons are deluded by ignorance. (16.13-15)
The reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it rests satisfied; he cannot be visited with [actual] evil.
The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.
When a wise man has a controversy with a foolish man, The foolish man either rages or laughs, and there is no rest.
Today is the auspicious day of Lord Shiva. Celebrate it with joy of heart and help people understand the values of Lord Shiva.
But a person free from all attachment and aversion and able to control his senses through regulative principles of freedom canobtain the complete mercy of the Lord. (2.64)
