Those who are envious and mischievous, who are the lowest among men, I perpetually cast into the ocean of material existence, intovarious demoniac species of life. (16.19)
The trouble with desire is that it is a blind desire and can only give temporary satisfaction.
The death penalty is pure violence, a barbaric and useless violence. Dangerous even, because it can only lead to other acts of violence-as all violence does. The supreme punishment ought to be a life sentence, and one without brutality.
The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.
Don’t let your mouth speak dishonestly, and don’t let your lips talk deviously.
Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
A Lot Of Trouble In The World Will Disappear, If Everyone Learns To Talk To Each Other Instead Of Talking About Each Other.
