In a family where there is love and compassion, the children will become happier and more successful human beings. Without love there is a danger of spoiling or ruining their whole life. Human affection is thus most influential for children’s development.

Affection and compassion are not only a religious matter, but in our day-to-day life they are quite indispensable. Our basic human nature is gentleness.

Compassion, loving-kindness, altruism, and a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood are the keys to human development.

All human beings come from a mother’s womb. We are all the same part of one human family.

If children do not receive proper affection, in later life they will often find it hard to love others.

I have found that the greatest degree of inner tranquility comes from the development of love and compassion.
