It is said that
It is said that if you want to know what you were doing in the past, look at your body now. If you want to know what will happen in the future, look at what your mind is doing now.
Man finds comfort in the past or in the future, never looks into the present. It has been an old habit, very old habit, of the human mind. Either it glorifies the past and relishes itself in the memory of past, or it builds castles in dreams, in clouds, for the future.
Never let your past experiences harm your future.
Your past can’t be altered and your future doesn’t deserve the punishment.
Past and future exist in relation to the present, but if the present cannot be positioned, how can past and future be positioned? This is a demonstration of dependent origination.
Dont let the past create the future, let the future erase the past
“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” – Buddha
He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past. George Orwell
I’ve made lots of mistakes in my past…but if you judge me on what I did in my past, then you have no reason being in my future.
“Create your future from your future, not from your past.” – Werner Erhard
When your mind is hankering for the future, continuously planning for the future, then it is not joyful.
