Happiness is a state
Happiness is a state of mind. With physical comforts, if your mind is still in a state of confusion and agitation it is not happiness. Happiness means calmness of mind.
Buddhahood is a state free of all obstructions and disturbing emotions. It is the state in which the mind is fully evolved.
Where is the choice? The choice is only between the bad and the worse. When you realize this you’ll drop both those conflicting thoughts and relax—the awareness becomes choiceless. Choiceless-ness leads to confusionless state of mind. Choiceless awareness is a state without confusion.
When this state is veiled or inhibited from expressing its true essence, the person is said to be caught in the cycle of existence, samsara.
We all know that the human mind is agitated, subject to frightful jolts. But this agitation isn’t the dominant force. It is possible and necessary to master it.
A state in which you feel absolutely comfortable, 100% comfort, that is meditation.

When hatred or anger are generated they have the capacity to destroy one’s virtue and calmness of mind.
Compassion, tolerance, and altruism bring us happiness and calmness. But when the individual is able to fully experience this clear light, he or she is on the way to true liberation and full enlightenment.
Happiness that has a cause can not last, You have to learn to connect to the ocean of happiness within you, something you have long forgotten.
